  • depends on build: an app builds its plugins, web and package with fizzy's build API #834 so merge that first, then the diff will make sense
  • make Fizzy have a JS API (like DVUI does) that can be used multiple times in one JS context (so you don't need to use heavy iframes). Wraps the DVUI library with options
  • instead of vendoring DVUI's web.js, use the real one but with independent feature patches

What changes

SDK impact

  • None
  • Core-only or additive: reaches plugins at the next SDK release
  • Fingerprint moved: recorded in sdk/src/version.zig, sdk_version untouched, PR labelled sdk
  • SDK release: bumps sdk_version, lists the sdk PRs since the last sdk-v* tag

Verified

  • macOS:
  • Windows:
  • Linux:
  • Web:

Sorry you're the guinea pig for this system lol it pulled your work and fixed a lint and merged that. It shouldn't do that again, I was trying to think about ways to handle certain small nits ourselves so user PRs don't rot.

idk why git was complaining. I'm trying to use jj again and the rebase was surprisingly confictless

- The web build ships dvui's `web.js` with `web/patches/dvui` applied by zig-patch, in place of
fizzy's fork. The patches are dvui commits meant to go upstream (docs/DEPENDENCIES.md).
- `index.html`'s script is now `web/fizzy.js`: `new Fizzy(opts).run()` takes the canvas,
storage name, persistence, worker mode, form factor, startup plugins/files/demos, extra wasm
imports and `onReady`/`onError`, and reads neither the URL nor other page elements. It drives
dvui's `Dvui` class itself, so nothing wraps `WebAssembly.instantiateStreaming`.
- `index.html` maps its query string to those options.
